Matterport Virtual Imaging
Matterport is an all-in-one platform advanced camera and laser system that assists Public Adjusters by enhancing documentation photographs of damage at an insured’s home. It is referred to as “the standard for 3D space capture”. With this tool, our in-house experts can photograph the current damaged condition inside an insured’s home, and transform captured images of the space into a virtual twin model. This technology speeds up claim approval and aids in creating detailed estimates by having the most accurate documentation possible. Matterport eliminates any instances of policyholder evidence spoilage by showing an extremely accurate pre-mitigation scan that details your home in its state immediately following a loss. Matterport also helps us reduce the occurrence of reinspections by allowing the insurance company adjusters to virtually “walk the property” from the comfort of their desks.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging cameras sometimes referred to as infrared (IR) cameras, are handheld electronic cameras that detect and measure heat energy. The heat signatures of various materials are measured and displayed on a screen that details a color map associated with the varying temperatures. Once a damaged location has been photographed with our IR cameras, our Public Adjusters develop a plan for mitigation and reconstruction with a high level of certainty that all affected areas are included upfront. Handling this operation in-house greatly reduces claim time because we are not waiting for outside vendors to provide input.
Additionally, with this technology, we move forward knowing that we have accurately documented a loss and possess the required information that the insurance company adjusters need in order to document their claim files correctly. Accurate claim documentation directly correlates to faster and higher settlements.
