True View Commercial was recently recognized as a finalist for the 2026 Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Ethics. As the founder of this company, this recognition means an immense amount to me, as well as the team here at TVC. Our clients come to us after a large-scale disaster affecting their families, and they are trusting us to help them make decisions that can affect their financial recovery for years.
That is a responsibility we take seriously. Being recognized for the way we approach that responsibility is something our entire team can be proud of.
As part of the recognition, we were invited to a private tour and banquet at Sam Pack’s Auto Museum in Farmers Branch, Texas. Dinner was catered by a local barbecue restaurant, with tables set up alongside the showroom so we could enjoy a meal and conversation while taking in the car collection.
After dinner, we had the opportunity to tour the collection of more than 130 cars. It was an impressive setting, to say the least, but what the True View Commercial team enjoyed just as much was meeting the people behind other local businesses.
The guests included companies spanning the breadth of Texas, ranging from property tax relief companies, insurance agencies, cabinet makers, custom builders, and healthcare companies. Although we all work in different industries, we were there for a shared reason: a commitment to conducting business ethically. It was a pleasure to celebrate alongside other finalists and award recipients.
Jay Newman, President and CEO of BBB serving North Central Texas, hosted the event and delivered an inspiring speech. The evening also included recognition of high school students and highlighted BBB’s efforts to introduce younger people to its role in business and consumer trust.
I appreciated that part of the program. The next generation will become our business owners, employees, and customers. Helping students understand accountability and how to evaluate the businesses they trust is an investment in the community.
When someone loses their home to a fire, they are suddenly making decisions about insurance, temporary housing, damaged belongings, and reconstruction. A business owner facing a large loss commercial claim may also be trying to protect employees, manage interrupted operations, and keep the company moving.
In either situation, the financial stakes are significant. People need clear information and professional guidance at a time when they may be overwhelmed.
We have all heard stories about construction funds being misused, projects left unfinished, or professionals failing to meet the standards expected of them. Those situations are a reminder that a title or a sales presentation is only a starting point. What matters is how someone conducts themselves after you have placed your trust in them.
To most people, ethics means doing the right thing when no one is looking. In public adjusting, that shows up in the accuracy of an estimate, the explanation of a difficult claim issue, and the willingness to keep working through a disagreement with the insurance company.
At True View Commercial, we work to build trust with both our insureds and their insurance companies. That requires honest communication and accurate reports, estimates, and timelines. Credibility matters when you are asking a carrier to reconsider its position or recognize damage that has been overlooked.
We also maintain a commitment to our insureds’ interests throughout every phase of the claim. Clients should understand what we are pursuing, why it matters, and what still needs to be resolved.
Our goal is to maximize financial settlement under the available policy coverage through thorough documentation and persistent, well-supported claim strategies. Every amount we pursue should have a basis in the damage, the facts, and the policy.
Our pursuit of perfection means continually examining our work, asking questions, and looking for what may have been missed. As the leader of this company, I am responsible for setting that expectation and reinforcing it through our daily decisions.
Whether we are assisting with residential house fires in Dallas-Fort Worth or large loss commercial claims in Austin and San Antonio, those expectations remain the same. Our clients deserve accurate work, clear communication, and a public adjuster who remains committed to their recovery.
We are honored to be a 2026 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics finalist, and we congratulate the other businesses recognized alongside us. Thank you to BBB and our hosts for a memorable evening. We look forward to participating in future BBB events throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond.
If you are navigating a residential fire or commercial property loss, contact True View Commercial to discuss your claim and how we can help.
